HPV shot... SCARED!!!! Rumor or TRUTH??!?!?

Ok I got the HPV shot on Monday.., Now Im reading that it causes disseases? I thought it STOPPED the rick of cervical cancer in preteen and teen girls? HELP! And I feel fine now.. nothings wrong.. but they say it took 2 months, and this girl died
