If Georgia was a full NATO member, do you think Russia would have invaded?

They will soon be NATO members (along with The Ukraine). David Milliband (UK Foreign Secretary) confirmed today that they would still be admitted. If they had already been, do you think russia would have done as it has? Hence, a question follows, will Russia do the same thing in the future, when they a are NATO member?
