I just got home, there was dense fog on the two lane road I was on?

the driver in the opposing lane crossed over the median just as I was about to come to a stop at the stop sign, I slowed down, then as he sped towards me, I swerved to avoid him and hit the stop sign. He kept going and of course I have no description of the vehicle because of the fog, dark and when highbeaming, makes vision worse, so no license plate. the car behind me stopped too out of fear. anyway, got home to survey the damage and my penger side mirror is hanging by a thread and my windows have a long scratch on them. question? can they be buffed out? if so, how much does something like that usually cost. I know the mirror will be close to 200.00 as I have a Honda accord 2002 with the folding mirrors.

You know, my husband says a whole bunch of crap when he sleeps. Tons of it is hilarious, but since you asked the question, I couldn't think of anything. Go figure. He does talk a lot though and he snores and we've had whole conversations, in debth ones too, while he was in a deep sleep. Sorta funny too, espcially since he doesn't remember a thing about it in the morning.

There is promise in development of other sources. Here in Oklahoma and elswhere switchgr is being develooped. Constant burning chest pain?

Im in the exact situation and I have also had evey test and blood work, but I was diagnosed with acid reflux and a chest and neck injury but im not sure why because I haven't had any accidents. Acid reflux causes burning behind the bone, in some people it's constant and in others the heartburn comes and goes. I also notice that when I bend down or lay down the pain gets worst. With the chest injury it has to do with strecthing of the muscles, maybe from heavy lifting, an accident, excercise, or anything that puts pressure on your muscles that they can't handle. I also get the tingling in my head and chest, feels like pins, but they can't find anything so I stopped stressing about and maybe you should too.because stress and anxiety can cause the symptoms to become worse or add new symtoms. I've started taking calcium and fiber supplements and doing light excercises to strenghten my muscles and bones as well as getting plenty of sleep. Hope you get something from this:)

Should I discuss my step-kids phone habits with husband?

We have a total of three teenage kids. My child lives with my husband and I. My stepkids live with their mom. All of these kids have cell phones. I would not allow my child to have one until the age of 16. My husband got my stepkids their phones at 14 and 15. I monitor my child's cell phone usage almost daily. No talking is allowed after 10 p.m. on weeknights. I'm a little more lenient on the weekends but nothing p 1 a.m. My child is not permitted to take the phone to school due to the school policy. However, I noticed that my stepkids are on the phone nightly well past 10 p.m. They are actually making calls and texting until early morning hours, like 3 a.m. They get a little sleep and the calls and texting resume before school and during school hours. I completely understand where you are coming from about this testing at the end of the grade. I teach 4th grade and am so disillusioned with the whole system, I am thinking about a career change. If you are confident in your daughter's reading comprehension skills, then she may just not be a good "test-taker". It is common, especially with 3rd graders, to see a low score when they are not used to test-taking. It wouldn't do any good to write a letter regarding the testing due to the national legislation - No Child Left Behind. Every state now has gateway grades where children can be held back based on test scores. Another issue is that the way teachers typically grade is not alligned with what or how students are essed. Some changes definitely need to be made in this area so parents understand how a child can p a subject and still fail a standardized test. Teachers take into account effort, improvement, participation, etc and tests do not.

I think the Falcons are a lot luckier. They had 2 straight losses, and were losing confidence in themselves. It was important for them to get a late win, as it might boost them and keep them motivated. A/C evaporator coil is dirty causing drip. U need a permit to buy coil cleaner. Over the counter substitute?

it's a side by side. i can't turn the defrost timer like you could on the older refrigerators. How do i get the box to go into defrost? With an electronic board? The defrost timer is located in the back near the compressor. I use to be able to use a screw driver to turn my manual defrost timer into the defrost mode. Buying a new b guitar - need recommendations?

I just bought a new b a few weeks ago and i got the mexican made fender precision b and i love it but you really don't know what your going to get until you get to the store. I spent a lot of time going through the guitar center website and there was a lot of stuff that was there at the store but not on the website and vice-versa. Just go on a day where your not doing anything, you don't want to be rushed when your picking, and play anything you like. Guitar center has no problem letting you try out what you like so take advantage of that. Anyway, i highly recommend the fender precision because it works for any genre of music. i play everything from RHCP type funk to ska/punk and it works for everything. Do look at guitar center online for a starting idea, it cant hurt.

something you want to eat for a snack should be healthy but delicious. if i want a snack i get a yogurt in a little package then bring a bag of granola and put some in the yogurt. its pretty good. if u really want to bite on it then i suggest these little cheese but really not as fat as other ones. you can get it at whole foods or bj's. or u can bring a bag of pretzels and eat it with some melted dark chocolate. :)

Better MPG in a Jeep Liberty.?

The jeep is a 6 cyl, 3.7 L, Automatic 4-spd, rear wheel drive. I have done what I normally recommend without any success. It's estimated mpg is supposto be 18-21 I am only getting about 14 in city and 18 highway. What could be causing this it's at 55,000 miles. I bought it used everything checked out on carfax but I don't know it's past matinance. I installed a K&N air filter with no increase in mpg.

People are strapped as it is because of the gas situation so in order to just get to work to go to thier meager wage jobs they have had a hard time paying thier bills so they may have charged the difference. McGahee right now, is behind Ray Rice on the depth chart, and the Ravens will be going to LeRon McClain for short yardage before they go to McGahee. Portis is fine...if he stays healthy. Your other problem is Crabtree...no telling when, or IF, he'll even sign with the 49ers, and if he does after the season starts, he'll be a wasted spot on your roster, not having practiced with the team at all. I also saw he's threatening to re-enter the draft next season. I don't know what RBs are left in your league, but I'd definately consider dumping at least Bush (and possibly McGahee) and Crabtree. What is causing my acceleration problem on my Infiniti i30 after replacing the IAC and ECM?

Ok, so a few months ago, My Infiniti i30 had a problem where it would stall if I was idle at a stop light for too long. I had 2 mechanics verify that it was both the IAC valve and ECM that went bad. Turns out, this is a very common problem amongst 2001 Infiniti i30s between the 80K and 100K mileage range. My mechanic replaced my IAC with a brand new one, and found a refurbished ECM that was matched by VIN and serial number. He replaced both, the ECM codes and all that tech stuff was done to make sure the new ECM was registering the new IAC and the car was driving fine until it got to the freeway. When you step on the gas, the car will not accelerate. It bogs down and won't go fast at all. I don;t know what the exact RPM was but the car was definitely not speeding up and this wasn't a problem before the IAC and ECM were replaced. What's causing this?

My 9 mth old acts like a monster?

Ive been getting unbearable pain in my right side just under my ribs. Ive had an ultrasound scan on the whole of my abdomen including my kidneys, liver, spleen, gall bladder and stomach and it has all shown up clear. Swollen lymphoid gland and crackling in throat???

If it is for public viewing, then we should be protecting our children from "adult" material. However, if it material that is being displayed for all to see and is offensive, then they should be censored. For example there is "religious" group that sets on our town square holding poster size pictures of aborted fetuses and they literally scream at pers- by (including young children) about how God hates "fags". Word of warning! Do not get a credit card from Household Bank (HSBC)!! They are very quick to close your account due to inactivity and will refuse to reinstate it. You would have to reapply and have a credit inquiry on your record (something I would NEVER give them the privilege to do again!). I heard other cards do this but if you are a customer with a good history they will just reinstate it at your request with no problem. I escalated the issue to a manager and asked if there was something in the fine print that states this policy that I may have overlooked. The manager mentioned that it was not specifically stated however their policy allows them to close an account for any reason. This is the type of reputation that HSBC wants and I want to make sure that everyone knows about it. Does anyone know of any other credit card companies that choose to be this customer unfriendly?

Ok people i need some help. I need to know what the limits of a high school rule book and policies are. More and more often im hearing what sounds to me like blatant desregard of basic rights. Its no secret that schools suppress freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and always escalate matters to a higher level than necessary. Why is it that a school administrator can simply call the police and say that a person was being disruptive and can make the police officer give a person a ticket. first off my name is katazhina i live in hollywood california with my mom, my dad,and my older brother whos 24. we still live with our parents but i was just wondering. is it weird that we pretty much still tell our parents where were going despite the fact we are of age to do what we want?weve always done this. ill always ask mother and daddy like what time do you want me home? or if me and my brother are going to the store ill be like mother or daddy me and brother are going to the store is this ok? or do you need anything? is it also weird i dont really ask much from my parents? the most i usually ask for is like nail polish, conditioner shampoo or makeup nothing really expensive. my brother and my mom work, we dont let daddy work because of he has a bad heart so i stay home and basically make sure hes ok, talk to him, or hangout with him.and check on him. we pretty much do everything for our parents, we dont fight or bicker or argue, and we just listen because of daddys heart problem and we dont want him to have another heart attack. i love my parents though. they are our saviours, our angels.

i am currently on birth control.. Aleese (generic Aviane or something like that..) i started this pill in december.. well i have been bleeding for 2 weeks now.. i went to the doc and he said it could be the pill well it has been 2 weeks now and i'm still bleeding.. and tomorrow is when i would normally start my period so i guess i will have another week of this.. so my question is has anyone gone through this or know what it is.. i heard breakthrough is normal with in the first 4 months of a pill but 2 weeks of it seems a little crazy..

Ever had an experience like this?

I am 14 and a half weeks pregnant today. This entire pregnancy just feel wrong. By wrong I mean, I have 2 other children. One is almost 3 the other is almost 2. I know what it's like to be pregnant and I know every pregnancy is different. My son was a breeze, when pregnant women said they were sick, I shrugged and though, wimps...Then my daughter came along. She was difficult. I was sick for the first and half of the second trimester. Just nausea and puking, nothing too crazy and after a while you kind of get used to it. It only happened once a day so it wasn't too horrible. THEN this one. This baby has been a surprise from the get go. My husband was planning on getting a vasectomy, I was on birth control, we though our family was complete. God had other plans, so now we are looking forward to a 3rd set of little feet wondering around our house. The usual my daughter wants a girl, my son want a boy. We have a boy name picked all that fun stuff, but I feel so sick. I mean there are days when I can barley move! I cramp sometimes, I have had some bleeing (gone to dr. both times and the baby is fine), I puke not just every day, but every meal. I cannot even stand the smell, site or thought of eggs. (I usually love eggs) I hoped that things would get better after 12 weeks, but would you believe they seemed to have gotten worse! I have had one miscarriage, in between my two kids and I the fear of another is constantly on my mind. Is this kid going to be okay, i ask myself. The dr. says the baby is perfect, doing great, nothing wrong, but everything feels so so wrong. Did you have a pregnancy like this, one that essentially kicked your , wore you out, made it tough to function and kept you worried about the baby inside of you. Was your baby okay? Did everything work out? Any words that can calm me down a bit? I do pray, I do read my bible. I just believe once you loose a baby it is so hard to not worry about it happening again. Maybe Im just wanting let out a few of my worries, my usual personality causes me to make light of things when people see I actually am worrying about something.

I was prescribed Lamictal and it was great at first as I was slowly increasing the dosage; my moods were stabilized and my irritability was gone. However, when I hit the 100mg mark, within a week I developed a lot of the side effects listed as "rare." Early awakening, exhaustion, hallucinations, eye blinking, etc. My Psychiatrist's nurse (I call her the gatekeeper) is being very unhelpful, and doesn't believe that the Lamictal is causing this, but it all started after I was on the drug. I am now only taking 50 mg daily and 50 of Seroquel to help me sleep. The Seroquel does put me out for 8 hours but I am still exhausted like before and have developed HUGE black circles under my eyes and am really pale. I feel terrible. Maybe I should try out for the casting of Twilight..... :) Anyway, I need some advisement on this because I feel so frustrated with the lack of istance. When I told the nurse today that I didn't feel any more energized after finally getting adequate rest she said "maybe you're getting too much sleep." AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!!

How do I handle his severe depression, former alcohol/drug abuse and holidays?

My husband is being treated for depression. He is a recovering alcoholic/drug addict. He has an addictive personality. He is/was addicted to , mostly kids. I caught him looking at a video of a girl, 8-10 yrs old, and that (2 months ago) was the beginning of the end. It brought back all old memories of my own ual abuse when I was 10. I had gone to a shrink to get over it. He wants to help me get over the feelings of my past, he says. I believe he does in his way. His way is to pressure me into . It disgusts me for him to even touch me. He knows ALL of this. He keeps pressuring. I am going to file for divorce AFTER the holidays, but I need advice on how to tell him there is no hope for us. I need to make sure he understands that it is MY feelings that are pushing me away because I can no longer deal with the past. He has researched suicide in the VERY recent past and that scares me. Had I known about his kiddie before we got married we wouldn't be married.

Is it Anxiety or are the doctors wrong? Please help.?

OK so I thought I was have a cardiac attack. Went to the ER and checked out great. Then was diagnosed with anxiety. What a load of Bull. Took the medicines for that and they just made me wanna sleep really bad. I have had lightheartedness 24/7 since the incident. They claim this is because of the anxiety. I have looked up the symptoms and it says it causes dizziness or lightheaded feelings but not 24/7. My Mom told me to take some sudafed to see if its ear or sinus related. Well I took the sudafed and it helps when I am on it for a while. Then as it tapers off the dizziness comes back. I hate the side effects of sudafed. I.E. hyperness, sweating, not being able to sleep. So my question is why would the sudafed have helped so much? Is this just because it affected my other senses more or is it indeed some sort of head congestion?

Here in Anchorage our city embly enacted a smoking ban in PRIVATELY OWNED drinking establishments. I realize this is a trend in many places these days but I do not agree with it. As for non-smokers there are plenty of establishments who voluntarily run smoke free already in existence. As for the radio ad campaign the Alaska Tobacco Control Alliance ran (playing up empoyee issues regarding second-hand smoke) people who work in bars do so of their own free will to begin with- it's not like they had to sign a contract to work there for X number of years or whatever. I hope this recently enacted law gets broken all over the place once winter sets in up here- it would serve our emblymen right~
